Recent Work

Outdoor spaces, built by hand.

Melbourne · Bayside Residential 2025 — Present
Our Work

Every garden is site-specific.

Each Shoreline project is designed and built around the home it belongs to — the soil it sits on, the family that lives in it, the way the light moves through the block at four in the afternoon. We don’t repeat layouts. We don’t reuse stock plans.

Below is a recent build. More projects coming soon as we document and photograph our 2025 – 2026 work.

If you want to talk through a project of your own, the best place to start is a conversation. We’ll come out, walk the site, and tell you honestly what we’d do with it.

Project Scope

A bayside rear garden, rebuilt end-to-end.

01

Crazy paving terrace

Hand-cut natural flagstone laid in a relaxed, organic pattern. Mortared base for stability, recessed jointing for a flush, sand-toned finish that softens with age.

02

Hardwood decking

Spotted gum decking running off the rear extension, sealed and screwed to architectural finish. Continuous flow from the alfresco onto the stone terrace.

03

Fresh turf lawn

Soft-leaf buffalo turf laid over imported loam, contoured around an existing lemon tree and shaped to a gentle curve along the planted border.

04

Custom planting design

Established palms and ornamentals retained, mass-planted beds added in coastal-tolerant species, weed mat and decorative bark mulch through the entire bed system.

05

Sauna integration

Site preparation, level base, and surround detailing for a barrel sauna installed by others. Pathway access threaded through the stone terrace.

06

Privacy fencing & lighting

White vertical-batten timber fence panels for boundary privacy and definition. Low-voltage uplighting through planted beds and stair-mounted pathway lights.
